I was in Amsterdam shooting a film over the summer of 2004 and production had given me a hotel room to stay in needless to say that gets a little stale after a while. When I started searching for other options I lucked into seeing one of Ton's apartments. The place was quite spacious, in fact the apartment was larger than my house in LA. The living room is huge and fantastically bright and the view was spectacular. Having visited Amsterdam for the first time and stayed on Singel, 20 feet from the canal, I couldn't have asked for a better location.
