apartment spans two buildings and is huge! The open floor plan

(17-dec.-04) Corvin-Brittin Family;...........................Imagine
our delight when we walked into this fantastic apartment on the
Singel! We were so excited by the size (expansive), number of
rooms and the wonderful kitchen. The apartment was all we could
ask for as a family. Close to the grocery store and wonderful
restaurants. The daily parade of boats on the canal during the
fall months was grand entertainment. We really enjoyed the three
month stay and can't imagine anyone being disappointed.

(15-dec.-04) Rocco Passionino;
Dear Ton, ..................................... When I started
searching for other options I lucked into seeing one of Ton's
apartments. The place was quite spacious, in fact the apartment
was larger than my house in LA. The living room is huge and fantastically
bright and the view was spectacular. Having visited Amsterdam
for the first time and stayed on Singel, 20 feet from the canal,
I couldn't have asked for a better location.

Guestbook.
My wife and I visit Amsterdam every couple of years for an extended
vacation. Normally, we stay in a hotel, and had never actually
thought of leasing an apartment until we came across your ad.
After talking with the owner, we decided to lease apartment 2;
and we could not have asked for things to go any smoother than
they did.
We have always stayed in this area in the past, so we were aware
of the safety and convenience of the location - within walking
distance of literally anything you could want to do
shopping,
museums, and historic sights; as well as a wonderful mix of restaurants,
bars and nightlife.
Besides convenience, comfort was our top priority - the apartment
definitely surpassed our expectations in that respect. The large
open floor plan provided more than enough space, and made the
apartment feel very warm and inviting
a true "home away
from home" feel. (Having the fully equipped kitchen was definitely
a welcome benefit, too!)
Whether you are here to work, shop, eat or just sit back and watch
the canal boats drift by below, this is the perfect spot to do
it from. We will certainly try to stay here again on our next
visit; and would highly recommend this apartment for anyone considering
staying here.
Ton - Thank you for going out of your way to make this an exceptionally
relaxing and enjoyable vacation for us!

(15-dec.-04) Nancy Segal; Dear
Ton, For the guest book: Certainly as the current tenants, we
can vouch that your description of our apartment is no exaggeration.
I appreciate the space and light DAILY (even when it's raining).
The different levels provide a sense of being in a house in the
city. The dakterras is the BEST I've seen in Amsterdam - Large,
with tremendous views. The co-tenants have always been nice -
The landlord is always immediately responsive when necessary (and
a swell guy as well) - The place is truly gezellig.
